A delegation of senior leaders and experts from the Bio and Emerging Technology Institute has visited the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute to observe the ongoing technological developments and innovations.
Professor Kassahun Tesfaye, Director General of the Bio and Emerging Technology Institute, stated that the projects currently being carried out by the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute are playing a significant role in advancing the country’s technological vision. He particularly emphasized that it is commendable to see research efforts moving beyond theoretical frameworks and delivering practical, real-world results.
The Director General also highlighted that strong institutional collaboration is essential to realizing the goals of the Digital Ethiopia 2030 strategy. In this regard, he confirmed that the two institutions will work closely together in the future.
During their visit, the delegation toured key facilities within the Institute, including the AI and robotics manufacturing workshop, the showroom, and the startup center.
