Recommended Computer Aided Design Software for EASE Engineering PLC

Abstract

The paper focuses on selecting the most suitable Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for EASE Engineering PLC's post-tensioning design automation needs. AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ProgeCAD, and ZWCAD were evaluated based on their in-built functions, automation capabilities, and compatibility with EASE Engineering's drafting requirements. The findings consider affordability, API support, AutoLISP processing capacity, and overall suitability for the specific needs of post-tensioning design. It has been noted that ZWCAD is the most suitable option with regards to affordability and overall performance.
