A Comprehensive Analysis of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks for Information Network Security Administration

Abstract

The majority of firms these days find it difficult to select the best Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework, mainly because there are so many intricately different frameworks available, each of which is designed to meet particular organizational requirements. When faced with distinct business requirements and complex frameworks, decision-makers frequently find it challenging to identify the best course of action. There are more layers of 
complexity due to the requirement for alignment with business goals and the need for a flexible framework that can adjust to changing market conditions and technologies. To overcome these obstacles, a thorough assessment procedure is necessary. 

This research conducted a comparative analysis on three well-known EA frameworks in the context of INSA: Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), Zachman Framework and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). The evaluation covers each framework's core components, including its scope, purpose, usability, adaptability, tool support, community, governance and compliance, cost and licensing, updates and evolution, and alignment with organizational goals which will give a better perspective in selecting an outstanding framework.
