Widows Programming (Using Visual Studio .NET)

Course Descriptions:

This course is intended to give the students a basic knowledge of how to develop Windows Application using C#.NET. After completing this course, students will be able to understand: Event Driven programming, Basics of Visual studio .NET, add and organize controls on a Windows Forms Application, Add code to Form and control event procedures, Create Multiple-Document Interface applications, Validate user inputs and Debug and Deploy a Windows Application.

Objectives:

  1. Explain .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR), .NET Framework Class Library (FCL), .NET Common Language Specification (CLS), Assemblies, Assembly meta data and Global Assembly Cache (GAC)
  2. Create, compile and run object oriented C# programs using Visual Studio
  3. Write and understand C# language constructs, syntax and semantics
  4. Produce programs for the desktop using solid multilayer architectures
  5. Desktop reusable .NET components via inheritance and interface realization
  6. Leverage the major namespaces and classes of the .NET Framework
